Call the local Coldwell banker or C-21 offices in your town and ask them. They are in a postion to know and may even offer to help.

There is no average. It depends on the task and the complexity plus the rates the attorney normally charges.
Even attorneys who handle closing will have different charges based on the complexity of the transaction.
All of that said an easy way to find out what the market might be for your situation is to collect a number of referrals from clients or agents. Then contact the lawyers (3 or more) to see if they can quote a standard charge for the work. Assuming that the work is very standard they will have an estimate based on the past. They might answer that they would need to know more if there is a some complexity to deal with.

In NC a the average attorney will charge $400-$500 for a closing plus title insurance. I would shop around and get a few quotes. Be aware of all the junk fees that they charge.
