I am currently a junior at UNC Chapel Hill who is interested in a career in real estate. I am a communications major and I am interested in taking the NC pre-broker real estate license exam. I would more than likely take the classes and exam the fall of my senior year. Is this a good idea, or should I wait until I receive my BA before even entering the field. I know when receiving the license, you have a couple years before I take the post-broker exam and I am wondering am I selling myself short by getting my license while im still in school. Also would it be better for me to get the license while I am in school, and take more real estate classes to better qualify me for when I do graduate and enter the market.
